Development and Optimisation of Vision Application for Visline


Yameo started a collaboration with Visline in 2023 for the development and optimisation of their solution that has revolutionised the monitoring and coordination of transport orders.

Visline is committed to enhancing efficiency in logistics operations through innovative software solutions. They were looking for a tech partner to help them with development and optimisation of the Vision application, and Yameo was ready to take up the challenge. Now, Vision, serves as a crucial tool for monitoring transport orders and tracking loading, facilitating seamless coordination and control within their operations.

What was the Vision project about? 

Visline wanted to stand out from their competition by offering a seamless freight execution experience for its clients, carriers, and internal staff. Thus, idea for the Vision application was created. They were looking for a trusted technological partner for the development and optimisation of the Vision application and our Yameo Team was ready to help them with that project


How did the Development & Optimisation project start?

Our primary focus was on gathering Visline’s requirements, understanding their business objectives and operations. Our efforts were directed towards developing the MVP, which took approximately three months to complete. Initially, the Vision application was aimed to cater specifically to drivers, facilitating the smooth execution of Visline’s transports. Its core functionalities revolved around enabling drivers to efficiently receive orders, provide loading and unloading updates, and seamlessly attach necessary documents. Following the successful launch of the MVP, we continued to iterate and enhance the application, releasing new versions in production over the course of the subsequent year. This iterative approach allowed us to incorporate new integrations and features, further enhancing Visline’s operational efficiency and ensuring the continuous improvement of the Vision application. 

Scope of Services

Our partnership with Visline encompassed a wide range of services:

Discovery Workshops
To kickstart the project, we organized Discovery Workshops aimed at collecting detailed requirements. These workshops resulted in a comprehensive project quote and mockups, providing Visline with a clear vision of the proposed solution.
Technical Analysis
Our team conducted a research, analyzing existing solutions within Visline’s infrastructure and determining the optimal integration approach. This analysis ensured compatibility and reliability of the Vision application with Visline’s existing systems.
Software Development
We initiated the development process by creating an MVP, allowing for rapid iteration and feedback. Then, our developers built the Vision application, integrated it with 3rd party application – Pascom (a financial management system already implemented in Visline), ensuring compatibility and reliability and incorporating features such as optimistic locking, monitoring, and automated currency rate updates.
Quality Assurance
Our test team conducted testing and validation to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of the integrated solution. In addition to functional testing, we also conducted vulnerability and penetration testing to fortify the system’s security measures.
Ongoing Support
Beyond implementation, our team provides ongoing support and maintenance to address any issues, optimize performance, and ensure the continued success of the integrated solution, fostering a long-term partnership with Visline.

Vision Application

The Vision application streamlines domestic and international logistics management for Visline by overseeing shipping orders, carriers, drivers, and users. Integration with Pascom: 

  • Seamlessly integrates with Pascom desktop application for comprehensive transport fleet management and invoicing. 
  • Provides real-time insights into orders, carriers, and drivers for improved decision-making. 


Data Synchronization: 

  • Adopts a unified database approach across systems for synchronized and secure data management. 
  • Ensures up-to-date and reliable information for all stakeholders. 


Locking Mechanisms: 

  • Implements pessimistic and optimistic locking mechanisms to enhance data integrity. 
  • Prevents conflicts during simultaneous edits and provides clear notifications of changes.

By streamlining the process of order management, tracking, and communication between stakeholders, Visline experienced smoother operations and reduced turnaround times.
Minimized Manual Efforts
With the automation capabilities of the Vision application, Visline could minimize manual data entry tasks, saving valuable time and resources. The integration with Pascom further contributed to this by automating invoicing and financial management processes, reducing the burden on staff and minimizing errors.

The application provided Visline with real-time visibility into their operations, enabling informed decision-making and proactive adjustments to optimize performance. This heightened level of insight and control allowed Visline to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
